Philsafe is duly licensed and authorized by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) to engage in the business of ships crew manning for international ocean going vessels and recruitment of shipboard personnel. Having been incorporated before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in December of 2011, the company was granted a license by the POEA on the 3rd of March of the following year. And few months after having started operation, the POEA audited the company against compliance to the rules and regulations of the Maritime Labor Convention of 2006 and thus a license was reissued stating it does so. Subsequently, the management system and the activities of the organization have also been certified by the BUREAU VERITAS as in accordance with all specified requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 (later upgraded to ISO 9001:2015).
The aim of the company is to establish a high level of quality service that conforms and meets the complete satisfaction of her clients, both SHIP OWNERS and SEAFARERS alike. No less than the word "PhilSafe" could clearly define the commitment of the company to achieving the highest management standard with particular emphasis placed upon safe working practices and continuous improvement of the skills of personnel. The management believes that seafarers who "feel safe" in the company that they are in, are highly motivated to give out the best of services that can be rendered, thus contributing greatly to the further growth of the ship owner which would then undoubtedly redound in favor of Philsafe as the manning agent.
